Hi,
I am a freelance writer who enjoys writing on the topics of parenting, family, health, alternative medicine, diet, nutrition, fitness and personal finance. I have been writing for print media, newspapers and the Internet for almost 20 years and enjoy researching and writing on new and varied topics. I specialize in articles, news stories and blog posts. In the past, I have been published in print in Minnesota Parent, Cincinnati Parent, and New York Family Times as well as many other regional parenting publications. I have also been a reporter for a local newspaper. Currently I am writing for several Internet sites including Suite101, Examiner, Constant-Content, Demand Media Studios, She Knows and Beliefnet.
I am also the author of two novels, a young-adult fiction adventure novel titled Outlaw Heroes and a women’s fiction novel titled Widow, Virgin, Whore. I am currently working on a third novel.
Since April 2009, I have owned and operated the blog Write Moms, a resource for freelance writers. Since then, I have also started two more blogs, Living Healthy News and Managing Menopause Symptoms. I enjoy blogging and hope to continue in the years to come.
